6 Echelon-II Officials to Be Inaugurated

Acting Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama will inaugurate six echelon-II officials at City Hall, Friday (10/31).

“Yes, there will be inauguration for six echelon-II officials,” confirmed City Secretary Saefullah, Thursday (10/30) night.

Besides official rotation, two officials will fill in the chief positions of the newly formed regional work units (SKPD), namely One-door Integrated Service Board (BPTSP) and Goods and Services Procurement Unit Board (BULP).

Previously, Jakarta Provincial Government had held assessment test to tens of echelon-II officials in an open selection process and promotion done by Jakarta Personnel Board (BKD). The test was conducted to know which officials that have competence and the right positions for them.

About the inauguration, based on the information gathered, former Central Jakarta Deputy Mayor Noor Syamsu Hidayat has high potency to become Head of BPTSP, while I Gede Dewa Sony would be inaugurated as Head of Jakarta BULP.

As for the officials who would be rotated, they are Head of Jakarta Public Works Department Manggas Rudi Siahaan who would be replaced by Deputy Head of Public Works Department Agus Priyono, and Head of Jakarta Financial Management Body (BPKD) Endang Widjajanti who would be replaced by North Jakarta Mayor Heru Budi Hartono. It is not yet known where Siahaan and Widjajanti would be rotated.
